Follow the drinking gourd was a song that helped slaves escape from there freedome when the slaves tried to escape it was risky because if they got caught it could cost them there life. But for the slaves it was worth escaping. The song Follow the drinking gourd helped them go north.

    Have you ever wondered how they communicated back then? Well I heard they sent letters and rocks. Now a day we use technology such as phones, Facebook, face to face, Skype and other stuff. Most back then probably would have liked to have those things.

   My favorite on is Facebook. It is Facebook because we could text people all around the world. All you need to have is Wi-Fi and something to get on such ass phones, iPods, and etc. You could also see what other people are doing because you could see their status or pictures. You could also get free calls sometimes.

   My second favorite is face to face. It is face to face because we could see them in front of you. Also you could understand them good. If you don’t understand them you could just ask him what he meant. You could also see who it is and if it’s a real person or if it is the right one.

   Some people say it’s better to wright a letter than be on the phone but that’s not true. I am going to give you some reasons why technology is better. First of all technology is better because you could talk to people from very far away. Second of all what if someone else gets the letter and it’s for your girlfriend/boyfriend. The last reason is that you could see pictures of people on Facebook.

   All in all, these are the reasons why I think it’s better to get on Facebook, phone, etc. Hopefully you learn from this and check out Facebook if you don’t have one. Do all I told you instead of a letter. I recommend Facebook and to text on a phone because that’s better than a letter and Facebook is the best.
